Dollar price increases slightly, gold becomes expensive by Rs 4,000 per tola

On Monday, both the local and interbank open currency markets saw a rise in the value of the dollar. In the open currency market, the dollar rose 5 paisa to Rs 283.80 on Monday, while it rose 10 paisa to Rs 282.00 in the interbank market. The selling price of the British pound increased by Rs 2.75 to Rs 380.36, while the euro increased by Rs 2.66 to Rs 320.23. According to the “All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association” report, the price of one tola of gold increased by Rs 4,000 on Monday, reaching Rs 342,500 per tola.

Similarly, ten grams of gold became expensive by Rs 3429, and the price of 10 grams of gold reached Rs 293,638, while with an increase of $ 40 in the global market, gold per ounce reached $ 3241.
