British passenger on crashed Indian plane posts last social media message

The final update on the social media made by a British national who was among the passengers in the flight that crashed shortly before landing at the airport in the Indian city of Ahmedabad has been told.
An accident involving a passenger plane occurred near the airport in Ahmedabad in which 133 people died, the plane was carrying 230 passengers and 12 members of the crew. Jamie Mack, a London-based yoga teacher had arrived in India with his partner Fiongal Greenlaw Mack. He bid farewell to his stay in India through social media last night, terming it as a magic experience. But since this afternoon when the dreadful accident happened, nothing has been known of him.
Hours before the crash, Jamie Mack had posted a video on social media where he was visible bidding farewell to India as he left the Ahmedabad airport.
The Indian media reported that the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner went down in a residential neighborhood close to Ahmedabad Airport soon after the takeoff. The aircraft was flying to the Gatwick Airport in London. The aircraft had 169 Indians, 53 Britons, 1 Canadian, 7 Portuguese nationals on board and Rupani, the former Gujarat Chief Minister, was also on board.
