Workers should band together to combat forces that exploit them, Says Sardar Rahim

Many workers and people attended a workers’ convention that was held by the Pakistan Muslim League Functional Labor Wing in Korangi District. Sardar Abdul Rahim, the Secretary General of the Muslim League Functional, spoke at the event and urged the workers to band together and oppose the forces of exploitation. While people are denied their daily bread, ministers’ salaries have soared dramatically.

Ministers’ and advisors’ pay have soared 700 times, yet workers aren’t even receiving the government-fixed wages. How can a government claim to be promoting economic development if it is not giving workers their promised wages? The purpose of the Bhutto Highway is to link the various defenses.
