Russia and Pakistan agree to establish new steel mill in Karachi

Haroon Akhtar Khan, special Assistant to the Prime Minister, and Russian representative, Denis Nazarov held an important meeting. Haroon Akhtar Khan and Denis Nazarov exchanged their thoughts on establishing a new steel mill in Karachi. To accomplish this project, both countries agreed to form a mutual working group of Russia and Pakistan.  This is the best time for foreign investors to invest in Pakistan because Pakistan has become a strong and safe place for investment, and this point has been recognized on the international level, Haroon Akhtar Khan said.

He stated that cooperation between Pakistan and Russia in the steel industry will give benefit to both countries. The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister also invited Russia to explore more investment opportunities in Pakistan. In addition to creating new opportunities for collaborative ventures in vital industries like steel production, this conference was crucial in further solidifying Pakistan-Russian ties.
