Pakistan Calls for Kashmir Plebiscite, Ends Clash After U.S. Mediation
In the aftermath of the Pahalgam incident—widely perceived as a false-flag operation blamed on Pakistan—a full-scale military offensive was launched against the country. Missiles struck mosques and residential areas across various locations in Pakistan during the dead of night, following the downing of Indian aircraft by the Pakistan Air Force. Subsequently, Israeli-manufactured drones bombarded the Line of Control for two consecutive days, leading to intense clashes. However, the Pakistani forces mounted a strong and effective response, forcing Indian troops into retreat. Despite the aggression, Pakistan remained stable and fully supported its armed forces.
Given the loss of lives and destruction of property resulting from India’s actions, there was widespread belief that Pakistan should retaliate forcefully. Nevertheless, the military and political leadership of Pakistan clarified that civilian populations in India would not be targeted, and any response would focus strictly on military installations, and only at an appropriate time.
Yesterday, the Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) held an extensive press conference with the foreign media. During the briefing, irrefutable documentary and audio-visual evidence was presented to expose India’s ongoing campaign of terrorism within Pakistan. It was conclusively demonstrated that the Pahalgam incident was part of a broader conspiracy orchestrated by the Modi government.
False narratives promoted by Indian media and government officials were thoroughly debunked. It was reiterated that any retaliatory response from Pakistan would be determined solely by its military and political leadership, based on strategic considerations and national interest.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, India reportedly attempted missile strikes on several Pakistani air bases. This provided Pakistan with the opportunity to respond decisively. At dawn on Saturday, “Operation Banyan Al-Marsoos” was launched—a remarkable event in the annals of military history. Pakistan’s Fateh missiles successfully destroyed multiple Indian airfields, the BrahMos missile storage facility, and a key S-400 missile defense system.
Several other military installations were also obliterated, and major Indian websites—including the official site of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)—were reportedly compromised. In response to Pakistan’s decisive action, the U.S. Secretary of State contacted Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, expressing concern and offering assistance in de-escalating the situation. As a global power, the United States bears a significant responsibility to prevent a full-scale conflict between two nuclear-armed nations. However, until this point, Washington had mysteriously maintained a non-interventionist stance.
Pakistan has no objections if the Modi administration chooses to engage constructively, and welcomes involvement by international organizations and powers—including the United States—if they deem it necessary to mediate.
However, any meaningful intervention must be conditional upon certain core demands. These include:
- An immediate plebiscite in Kashmir in accordance with UN resolutions,
- The permanent abolition of the Indus Waters Treaty, and
- The complete dismantling of Indian-backed terrorism in Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
As this report was being compiled, news emerged of a ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan, facilitated by U.S. intervention. The nation must offer its gratitude to Allah for this decisive victory—an historic achievement made possible by the unwavering resolve of Pakistan’s military and political leadership.
