Pakistan Announced Martyrs’ Package, Declared May 10 as “Battle of Haq” Day, and concluded Operation Banyan Marsus with Victory

Operation Banyan Marsus, which the Pakistani army conducted in reaction to Indian invasion, has been declared complete. It is known as the Battle of Haq, and it is commemorated annually on May 10 and includes a package for martyrs. On May 10, 2025, the Indian army launched Operation Banyan Marsus in retaliation for the dastardly attack. The period between April 22 and May 10 has been dubbed the Battle of Haq by Pakistan. It was a historic show of cooperation between the three forces on the air, land, naval, and cyber fronts and served as a shining example of the unity of the country’s forces and its unwavering resolve.
Information about the martyrs and wounded from the Battle of Haq was also made public by the ISPR on Tuesday. 76 officers were wounded and 11 troops were sacrificed for the country. When declaring the annual May 10 celebration of the Battle of Truth, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced a martyrs package that includes Rs 10 million for the heirs of Pakistani citizens and Rs 1 to 2 million for the injured. Depending on their rank, the heirs of Pakistan Army martyrs would receive between Rs 10 million and Rs 18 million, and for housing facilities, between Rs 19 million and Rs 42 million. They will continue to receive their pay and benefits until the martyrs’ retirement date.
All of the costs for the homes damaged by the Indian attack, the building of martyr mosques, and the medical care of the wounded will be covered by the federal government. Their unwavering moral strength, determination, support, and prayers were with the army, the Pakistan Army spokesperson said, thanking the Prime Minister and his cabinet for their courageous decision and the appropriate military, political, diplomatic, and media response to Indian aggression.
