Global Sentiment Shifts Toward Pakistan Amid International Backlash Over India’s Kashmir Policy
According to renowned analyst Umar Cheema, Pakistan has benefited from Donald Trump’s involvement in the Kashmir dispute. Fakhar Durrani noted that the military loss was separate from the $44 billion setback suffered by the Indian stock market due to rising tensions between India and Pakistan. Retired Admiral Shahid Iqbal remarked that the outcome might have been different had China not intervened. Aizaz Syed stated that he would like to thank Narendra Modi for creating such internal division in Pakistan, as it inadvertently led to national unity.
Pakistan might not have been so united if Modi had not pursued such a policy. Mazhar Abbas emphasized the importance of strengthening ties with countries that supported Pakistan during the recent tensions with India. He expressed these views during an interview with broadcaster Muhammad Junaid on Geo News’s program War Room.
Umar Cheema further pointed out that the international narrative is currently in Pakistan’s favor, with global media accusing India of misinformation. He added that India is now so fearful that it has begun mistreating its own citizens, and the Indian Foreign Secretary is currently under significant pressure.
