The international community calls for restraint and dialogue as the Modi government launches cross-border strikes that kill 26 Pakistani civilians amid escalating tensions.

26 civilians were killed and 46 were critically injured Tuesday night when the Modi government, which is steadfast in its support of the Hindutva ideology of the RSS, launched missiles at Pakistani citizens from six locations along the Line of Control and the International Boundary. This was done in a pre-prepared setting. Without providing any proof, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused Pakistan of sending some terrorists who had traveled 200 kilometers to the popular tourist destination of Pahalgam and looked through visitors’ identity cards. Twenty-six Hindus were among those killed. First and foremost, Pakistan denounced this act of terrorism, and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif called for an unbiased international probe in which Pakistan would participate fully.

The media persisted in spreading hate speech and incitement against Pakistan notwithstanding the Indian leadership’ failure to respond to this straightforward and reasonable request. In addition, the Modi administration took numerous actions that astonished the entire globe because they were obviously against morality, international law, and bilateral relations etiquette. The Indian government’s position against Pakistan was rejected by the world community, which advised it to be moderate and tolerant and concentrate on using dialogue to settle the disputes.

The fact that India was left out in the international community while those who backed Pakistan’s stance took action deeply disturbed the Modi administration. In clear terms, China declared that India would be the target of a war with China if it ventured. Additionally, it gave Pakistan access to contemporary fighter jets, and Turkey moved its fleet to the Karachi port. To make amends, the war-mad Modi government launched missiles at six targets inside Pakistan. The Pakistani Air Force responded to this aggression by shooting down three drones and five Indian fighter jets. Among these were three Rafale planes, which India had specially acquired from France to oppose Pakistan’s air force.
